Auberge du Bon Laboureur’s gourmet restaurant is a haven of peace and tranquillity opening out onto a shaded terrace and stunning garden – a charming, elegant setting serving up the very best authentic French cuisine with a modern touch.

The three adjoining rooms are bright and tastefully decorated, forming a harmonious blend of traditional and more contemporary aesthetics.

The Head Chef

Auberge du Bon Laboureur’s head chef, Antoine Jeudi, loves nothing more than sourcing great produce from the property’s very own vegetable garden and the local market.

He works with fresh, seasonal, high-quality produce all year round, allowing the innate textures and flavours to do the talking. Antoine’s gourmet dishes are a homage to traditional French cuisine, brought up to date with a modern twist.

His inspiration gives rise to refined, delicious and generous food.

In the garden

Fancy dining al fresco or giving the children somewhere to play while you relax? You can order from our snack menu at any time of day and enjoy refreshments in our garden – fresh, light dishes to share with the people who matter to you in rustic surroundings. Because that’s what outdoor living in Touraine is all about.

You can also enjoy a drink before or after dinner in our outdoor lounge area.

Picnics at Auberge du Bon Laboureur

We can put together an authentic, sumptuous picnic for you to take with you on a day out. Admire the local châteaux and lesser-known attractions, explore the caves and landscapes of the Loire Valley, then stop off for a delicious lunch with your friends, family or loved one. Lounge bar

Our lounge bar is the perfect place to relax in a warm, elegant, friendly setting at any time of day. There’s always a good reason to spend time here, whether you’re settling down to read a good book, sharing a pre- or post-dinner drink with friends, or making music on our very own piano.

And if you prefer your fun al fresco, you can also order items from the bar menu and enjoy them in our outdoor lounge area.
